News and Viewpoints
The most current developments in biotechnology, as reported in newly published papers or at scientific symposia, are discussed in News & Views articles. They can be related to posts in our journal, or they might focus on papers from particularly noteworthy publications.
Viewpoints differ from editorials, as these article types allow authors to express their own personal ideas and thoughts on a particular issue or theme, which may be argumentative.
Submission Guidelines
- Although aspiring authors are encouraged to submit suggestions, unsolicited contributions are often not considered.
- Such article types are not peer-reviewed.
- Word count should not exceed 2000 words and 30 references.
- Word count can be flexible; however, exceeding the recommended limit is not advised to maintain readability.
