Authorship
Authorship recognizes a researcher’s contributions to a work and holds them accountable for its integrity. All authors are expected to adhere to the following criteria:
Significant Contribution
Each author must have substantially contributed to at least one of the following:
- Conception or design of the work
- Data collection, analysis, or interpretation
- Development of new software used in the work
- Writing the manuscript or making significant revisions
Approval and Responsibility
- All authors must approve the submitted article and any substantial modifications affecting their contribution.
- Authors agree to be personally accountable for their own contributions and ensure that any concerns about the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work—even those outside their direct involvement—are investigated, addressed, and documented.
Submission and Corresponding Author
- The submission letter for a research article does not need to be signed by all authors, and the order of authors is not mandated.
- Upon submission, the journal assumes that all listed authors have approved the manuscript, author list, and contribution declarations.
- The corresponding author manages all communication between the journal and co-authors, ensures approval from all authors, and submits the conflict of interest statement on behalf of all authors.
- Post-publication, the corresponding author is responsible for addressing any queries regarding the work and keeping all co-authors informed.
Corrections and Authorship Changes
- Authors must notify the journal promptly if they discover errors in published work.
- Once a manuscript is accepted, changes to author order, corresponding author, or additions/deletions of authors are not permitted.
- The journal editors cannot resolve authorship disputes; unresolved conflicts should be referred to the relevant institutional authorities.
Consortium Authorship
- Multiple authors may be listed collectively as a consortium. Individual members can be mentioned both in the main author list and as part of a consortium, if appropriate.
- Consortium participants who did not directly contribute may be listed in the supplementary information.
- Authors planning a manuscript with a large number of contributors should consult the editor before submission to facilitate the process.
The above criteria must be followed by all authors for publication in the journal.
