All articles containing information, photographs, or videos related to an identifiable individual must include written informed consent from that person prior to publication. For minors (under 18 years), consent must be obtained from a legal guardian. If the individual is
deceased, permission must be obtained from the next of kin. A statement confirming that written informed consent was obtained should be included in the manuscript.
If photographs or materials are fully anonymized, with no identifying details of the individuals mentioned in the text, consent may not be required. The editor retains final authority on whether consent for publication is necessary.
